HumanIPO reported earlier this week on the National Security Agency (NSA) XKeyscore revelations contained in the latest documents to be publicised by Snowden’s leaks to Guardian newspaper in the United Kingdom.
Formerly contracted by the NSA, Snowden obtained one year-long asylum status from the Russian consulate yesterday (Thursday).
Equally as popular in its own zone as Facebook in the United States, VKontakte was started by Pavel Durov in 2006.
The founder posted on his page: “We invite Edward to Petersburg and will be happy if he decides to join the dream team of VKontakte programmers.”
Compared to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the 28 year-old Durov manages the community of 210 million.
“No other internet company in Europe is more popular than VK,” Durov said
