South African fixed-line provider Telkom has released a range of uncapped internet products to take care of the small business market.
The Business Uncapped Internet Usage Plan will help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with affordable rates.
Carel Booysen, executive of business broadband and internet, said: “Business Uncapped consists of a range of affordable uncapped internet offers suitable for small offices with up to five users.”
Bandwidth intensive applications, such as sync and share and remote backup will enable businesses to maximise web activity.
The focus on SMEs show Telkom’s desired role of providing support in developing business potential.
The new offering forms the part of the Telkom Business broadband portfolio.
“Given that we are in the digital era and part of the Information Age, it is important that small businesses, equip themselves with suitable products that allow for optimum productivity and convenience while still remaining cost effective,” Booysen said.
A variety of packages are available with costs ranging between ZAR249 (US$25) and ZAR3,799 (US$379).
HumanIPO reported earlier this week on Telkom’s South African Telecommunication Network Applications Conference (SATNAC) to be hosted in September.
