Vodacom Tanzania has extended another offer to customers using LUKU prepaid electricity that will give them 5 per cent of the money charged when they purchase through M-Pesa.
The Daily News reports the money is credited to their M-PESA balance for other purposes such as buying airtime.
“Immediately after every transaction, customers will receive a message confirming to them that they have earned a 5 per cent offer,” said Rene Meza, Vodacom Tanzania managing director.
Meza added that LUKU transactions via M-Pesa have increased due to their reliability of the services and it is for this reason they were able to offer the reward.
Vodacom Tanzania has five million customers and 45,000 M-Pesa agents across the country.
