TEDx, the business and policy event organiser, has announced its Pretoria summit, held in partnership with the Southern African Innovation Network (SAINe), will focus on the power of innovation and collaboration.
At least 10 guests, including leading businesspeople, entrepreneurs, technologists and policymakers, are due to speak on how innovation can affect businesses, societies and economies.
Linda Swart, national coordinator for SAINe, said: “TEDx Pretoria will focus on ideas that can help build a more productive and innovative South Africa.
“The event is for anyone interested in innovation, collaboration and change across the worlds of business, academia, technology, media, and the arts.”
TEDx events are held around the world to share ideas between business leaders and entrepreneurs.
SAINe is a not-for-profit group working to promote innovation in South Africa.
The Pretoria event will be held on September 27, at the Innovation Hub Science and Technology Park.
