The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has launched a three year-roadmap called Project Alpha, through which the bank seeks to achieve strategic transformation of its operations.
Project Alpha, the bank said, will foster various products it is offering its customers and leverage on UBA’s operational capabilities.
Other aspects of the project include transformation of UBA’s customer service, and cross-segment implementation of e-banking initiatives.
Phillips Oduoza, group managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of the bank, said: “UBA is able to recruit the cream of African banking talent and we are proud to be able to provide a dynamic platform for these Africans to contribute to our continent’s transformation.
“Our people remain our greatest asset and we will continue to strategically retool and resource to achieve and surpass the goals of Project Alpha.”
