Zimbabwe-based mineral processing plant manufacturer Appropriate Process Technologies has announced its design of a new system in order to diversify its operations.
The new modular platinum gravity recovery system can be used in primary ore processes.
Kevin Peacocke, chief executive at Appropriate Process Technologies, said: “We are focusing more on designing and incorporating modular platinum group metal specific gravity recovery systems, which can be used to retreat tailing and to process primary ores,” as reported by The Herald.
Planning to install a platinum processing plant in Africa, the business plans to move away from its gold recovery gravity systems.
