E-commerce website Jumia Nigeria and African entertainment platform iROKOtv have joined forces to upgrade online purchasing of top online movies with HD quality.
“Jumia Nigeria is continuing to grow everyday with addition of assortment for customers,” said Ralph Afaedor, managing director of Jumia Nigeria.
“With the cooperation of iROKOtv, Jumia are now welcoming the Nigerians to purchase movies online.We are very proud of this enormous step which also includes shipment everywhere in Nigeria.”
The website, founded in 2012, is the fourth most visited in Nigeria, having been nominated for the Online Retail Awards 2013 in two categories.
Jumia is also present in Morocco, Egypt, Kenya and the Ivory Coast.
HumanIPO reported in June iROKOtv was beginning to launch its catalogue of films in South African DVD stores, while last month it launched an Amazon store to increase accessibility.
