HumanIPO partners MobileMoneyAfrica for expo

HumanIPO will be lead media partner at the fourth MobileMoneyExpo in Lagos next year, with the event focusing on financial inclusion for the unbanked.

The expo will focus on addressing developments, challenges, opportunities and success stories within the growth of the financial services ecosystem across the continent.

The conference will culminate with the the Kalahari Awards, recognising industry innovation and success.

“We are delighted to partner with MobileMoneyAfrica for this exciting event and looking forward to telling our readers across Africa and the rest of the world about what the leaders in the industry have planned to roll mobile money out to greater numbers of users,” Tom Jackson, managing editor of HumanIPO said.

Mobile money is an industry in which Africa has shown the world the way, and discussions around how to use it to reach the unbanked communities across the continent are central to financial inclusion and economic growth.”

Emmanuel Okoegwale, principal associate at MobileMoneyAfrica, said they hope attract more decision makers to the event and lead to policies that promote financial inclusion from banks, mobile network operators and regulators.

“We’re excited to forge this event media partnership with HumanIPO,” Okoegwale added.

“As a top pan-African technology news site covering segments that we are targeting across technology, financial services and startup domains across Africa, this partnership will benefit our partners and delegates with the mileage and reach that the platform will provide, pre and post event.”

The expo is being held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel in February next year.
