Ghana-based startup Dropifi has been selected for the Europas Awards in the Best Business, Recruitment and Enterprise Startup category for their innovation in customer support.
Dropifi is also running for the People’s Choice award in the Europas Award.
The Europas Award is aimed at recognising tech companies and startups giving them an opportunity to link with investors across the world.
Dropifi, which already has 1,000 users, specialises in making contact forms in websites easier to use for potential customers while helping existing business connect to them. The solution is already available for integration with WordPress and Shopify.
“Long, complicated and hidden contact forms deny businesses of valuable feedback and leads, they also offer no business insight into customer interactions,” Dropifi said, adding that the solution delivers valuable business insight and a spam-free experience to customer engagement with a smart contact widget.
Using the solution, website owners can see the incoming messages and highlight trending topics in relation to the industry metrics. They can also see social media profiles of the message senders, analyze the emotion that drives the message. The platform also blocks spam messages.
Dropifi was born at Ghana’s innovation hub, the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology.
The startup’s co-founder and CEO David Osei said: “The Dropifi Team had hoped 2013 would be a big year and to be nominated for this award is a great start for us. Also being a part of the people’s choice award is especially nice as it means our clients and community is really behind us, please get voting if you have not already.”
The award ceremony will take place in Berlin on January 22. Last year’s winners included big names such as Spotify and SoundCloud.
