Comium Gambia opens customer centre in Bakoteh, more to come

Comium Gambia, a telecommunications provider, has launched a new customer care centre at Tippa Garage, in Bakoteh, to serve the needs of its subscribers.

Nyang Njie, Comuim’s Business Development Manager, said subscribers no longer need to travel to distant locations before they can access customer services.

He added the company is still exploring the Greater Banjul Area, especially the rural areas for sites to build more customer care service centers.

Sima, a representative of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, encouraged users to lodge complaints at the centre which will push the company to work harder in meeting the expectations of the subscribers.

HumanIPO reported on Wednesday the company promised residents of Jarra Central expansion of its services to the area.

Late last year at the launching of three out of the four segments of the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) submarine cable system, it was revealed Comium was part of the consortium that formed The Gambia Submarine Cable System, owning 10 per cent of the total share valued at US$25 million.
