After five years of service to Cell C, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Fabrizio Mambrini has resigned to fill a position with Oger Telecom, the Dubai-based telecommunications company.
Oger Telecom is Cell C’s majority shareholder and parent company where Mambrini was previously employed as the director of international operations.
Taking his position for the time being is Robert Pasley, Cell C’s Chief Strategy Officer, until a permanent replacement is employed. Regarding his resignation, Cell C said it has a policy against commenting on the reasons for the resignation of its executives with exception of the Chief Executive.
Mambrini’s experience within the telecommunications industry includes working for Telecom Italia in both Greece and Italy before moving to Turkey based Aria (now called Avea). Mambrini possesses a doctorate in robotics, the speciality of which deals with the controlling of the movement of an electronic arm.
