Swedish stakeholders are hoping to gain South African trading partners in ICT as an outcome of the Nordic Southern African Business Forum, which takes place in November.
The Cape Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Trade Sweden will co-host the event in Cape Town, South Africa, aiming to engage with local companies in the ICT, green tech and agribusiness sectors.
Focusing on mobile innovation and software development, the forum will occur between November 14 and 15.
Due by October 24, applications require a 150 word company description, social media handles and a website link.
Startups are encouraged to attend, offered a chance to engage with stakeholders on topics such as industry opportunities and challenges and export potential.
Attendees will also have to opportunity to participate in facilitated ‘matchmaking’ sessions with a ‘strong interest’ from both Nordic and non-South African countries in Africa.
