Dimension Data has announced that it will be offering cloud services to US-based IT firm Questys Solution in an effort to expand its client-base globally.
Questys Solutions deals with electronic document management for big enterprises and encompasses service industries such as education, accounting, government and healthcare.
“For Questys, seeking out a cloud services partner meant more than identifying a vendor,” said Rod Anderson, CEO of Questys Solutions. “We were seeking to transform how we deliver content and document management services to our customers and reduce their cost to adopt our solutions, all while maintaining the high level of service they have come to expect from us.”
Dimension Data Americas is the subsidiary of the global South African IT firm, Dimension Data. The company has grown over the years, providing cloud and IT services to big multinationals across the globe.
The cloud services are handled on the company’s Managed Clout Platform (MCP), which is a fully managed cloud platform. The service comes with servers, storage, networking, virtualisation and operating system software.
“Questys Solutions is an ideal example of the benefits that software-based businesses can achieve by leveraging a scalable cloud resource model,” Keao Caindec, chief marketing officer of Dimension Data’s Cloud Solutions Business Unit, said.
“By utilizing Dimension Data public cloud services, Questys can realize cost savings and at the same time focus on its strengths in delivering a business-critical product to its customers,” he added.
According to Questys, after evaluating their needs in terms of price and cost, they settled on Dimension Data’s solution and competitive price from other providers.
“Throughout the process, our technical team found that Dimension Data was exemplary in helping with questions of all aspects – from technical to pricing to the administrative console,” said Anderson.
