Cell C, South Africa’s third mobile network, has launched a three month international calling promotion allowing 65c per minute calls to selected countries in North America, Asia and Europe.
The deal went live on November 5, 2013, and will be available until January 31, 2014. The tariff works out at 65c per minute, but calls are billed per second.
The dropped rates are available to all existing Cell C prepaid, top-up and postpaid customers and calls to fixed and mobile lines qualify.
Qualifying countries are the UK, USA, Germany, Greece, Portugal, France, Belgium, Canada, Spain, India, China and Singapore.
