South African resellers of Apple products have published the prices for the new MacBook Pro and iPad Air.
For the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and 128GB PCle-based flash storage and 4GB 1,600MHZ is ZAR16,999 (US$1,660) through iStore and Digicape, while the 256GB model with 8GB RAM is ZAR19,999 (US$1,950).
The 15-inch model with 2.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB 1,600MHZ is ZAR25,499 (US$2,500). The faster model is ZAR32,499 (US$3,200).
Core Group meanwhile has said the iPad Air Wi-Fi models will start at ZAR5,999 (US$590) for the 16GB and goes up to ZAR9,999 (US$980) for the 128GB.
The iPad Air with Wi-Fi and cellular starts at ZAR7,799 (US$760) and goes up to ZAR11,499 (US$1,100) for the 128GB.
