The Social Media Week (SMW) Lagos organisers have announced the second event, being held between February 17 and 21, 2014, will be “bigger, better and bolder” than its inaugural conference in 2013.
HumanIPO reported extensively from SMW Lagos earlier this year, which was the first time the franchise conference had been held in Africa, and included 110 events, with more than 8,000 registrations and 31 million online impressions.
Dragon Africa, which will again be running SMW Lagos, has said after partnering with Volkswagen it will be able to base the #SMWLagosHQ at 850sqm Volkswagen Centre in Victoria Island to host large groups and feature “dynamic installations to enhance attendees experiences”.
There is also set to be an After Hours stream, which will take advantage of the Lagos nightlife for post conference evening events.
SMW Lagos will also feature more smaller venues across the city that will host “engaging programming in a more intimate setting”.
