Online television streaming platform Pan African TV (PANA TV) has acquired more than 1,000 hours of M-Net programmes to broadcast on the web.
“The partnership with M-Net, one of the largest television networks in Africa, gives us a broader content base that helps us in showcasing the talent in Africa. This is indeed, a fantastic partnership as we unpack the African story to the world,” Daniel Ogbonna, Founder of PANA TV told ScreenAfrica.
Newly transferred content includes drama, lifestyle, children’s programmes, short films and documentaries.
Viewers can look forward to a greater diversity of shows, including Cooking with Siba, featuring famous South African food editor Sibahle Mtongana, The Wild drama series and documentary Playing the Enemy.
PANA TV also offers Nollywood films, as produced by the Africa’s biggest film industry in mass production from Nigeria.

PANA TV is an Internet television service, supplying legal, African viewing material internationally in English, Arabic, French and Portuguese with the African subscriber in mind.
The media group aims to offer “premium entertainment” while showcasing Africa in an educative, recreational, creative and informative way.
