South African business solutions company AccTech is set to showcase the blueprint of its newest release of business management software for the mining industry in early February.
The company will be demonstrating the Sage enterprise resource planning (ERP) application at the 2014 African Mining Indaba in Cape Town starting on February 3.
The software aims to provide “streamlined financials, incorporation of production and exploration data, visibility and control of the supply chain processes, asset management and maintenance and human resource management” for the mining sector.
“Economic and socio-economic pressures in the mining industry is forcing mining companies to manage and measure operations more accurately in order to manage their workforce, improve productivity and ultimately improve bottom-line profitability,” the company said in a statement.
In October HumanIPO reported AccTech had been declared Microsoft Dynamic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) partner of the year.
Tertius Zitzke, chief executive officer (CEO) of AccTech, said the award further strengthened AccTech’s position as a leader in South African ERP providers.
