Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said a constitutional court ruling overturning the country’s Twitter ban was wrong and should be amended, according to a report.
“The constitutional court’s ruling on Twitter did not serve justice. This ruling should be corrected,” Reuters quotes him as saying.
The ban, which was imposed on March 21, was lifted last week after it was declared unconstitutional.
HumanIPO reported yesterday a Turkish court had upheld a YouTube ban, backtracking after an Ankara court granted access to the site.
The ban has been imposed once again until audio recordings of top-level officials, discussing possible military action against Syria, are removed.
