South Africa’s First National Bank (FNB) has included the Samsung Gear and Fit Gear in its Smart Device offering.
The additions come shortly after Samsung’s flagship smartphone theGalaxy S5 was included in the bank’s Smart Device list.
The Samsung Gear and Fit Gear devices are bundles with the S5 smartphones and are available for ZAR565 (US$54) and ZAR509 (US$48) per month respectively.
“Smart device users are becoming increasingly brand loyal and they are realising the value and ease of use that acquiring the same brand across tablets, smartphones and smart watches has through the synchronisation that it offers,” said Kartik Mistry, head of Smart Devices at FNB.
“In addition to bringing customers the latest devices that enable on-the-go banking and a connected lifestyle, the Samsung Fit and Gear 2 allow us to service our technology orientated and fitness conscience customers.”
