The International Criminal Court (ICC) has tweeted that a status conference will be held on Monday regarding the trial of Uhuru Kenyatta, president elect of Kenya.
It is unclear whether the Court will reveal a decision on Kenyatta’s application to appear at his trial via video link or whether the Trial Chamber is still deliberating on the matter.
The Court also announced the conference will be live-streamed via the ICC website.

The status update conference will discuss in particular the effects of the ICC’s decision to withdraw the charges against Francis Muthaura, who was originally jointly accused of crimes against humanity with Kenyatta.
The ICC will have to explain how Kenyatta becoming the sole accused will change the case.
