Vodacom South Africa is doubling SMS bundles for hearing impaired customers at no extra cost in a new promotional offer.
Hearing impaired customers, who need to be verified, will receive double the value on every SMS bundle purchased irrespective of whether they are Contract, Top Up or Prepaid customers.
There is a process that the hearing impaired customers have to go through in order to be verified which includes downloading and completing the application form from Vodacom, the National Institute for the Deaf or Deafsa websites.
Customers can also send an SMS to 12580 and include their fax number or email address where the application form can be forwarded to.
Vodacom SA said: “Customers with hearing impairments use SMS as their preferred channel of communication and Vodacom has decided to offer these customers more value to help them stay connected.”
Once completed, the application forms should be e-mailed to [email protected]
Vodacom customers with hearing impairment can also apply for the offer by going to their nearest Vodacom SA store.
