International telecommunication education institution Telecoms Academy will present web-based training in Long Term Evolution (LTE), Cloud and Operator systems from the end of the month to replace personal lectures.
Three courses will be presented online to make access more convenient.
The Telecoms Operator, Cloud for Telecoms Operator will take place from April 28 to May 2, followed by LTE Technical Overview from May 7 to 10 from the academy’s website./p>
“Telecoms Academy’s Live on Web training solution immerses you in a fully interactive training environment without the need for the inconvenience and cost of travel,” the institution announced yesterday.
Necessary adaptations for telecommunication operators will be addressed in The Telecoms Operator, with new developments such as the role of social networking, broadband traffic drive and machine applications at the top of the agenda.
According to the online brochure, telecommunication operators will be equipped “to successfully embrace the new services and capabilities that are at the heart of the wider ICT industry”.
The Cloud-based course will introduce attendees to both the operator and customer perspective, highlighting the benefits for telecoms of different business models to approach emerging opportunities.
LTE Operation training will inform subscribers about the architecture and operation of LTE networks, with some attention to the radio networks.
At a cost of €1,325 (US$1,721) per course, four sessions of four hours are accessible.
Registration for courses starting in April close by April 14 and the May course is open until April 24.
