First National Bank (FNB) has cleared up the confusion regarding browser support, saying only Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) will no longer be supported.
HumanIPO reported in February FNB would no longer support IE7 on its internet banking platform from June this year and users accessing their online banking would have to update to IE10.
Speaking to HumanIPO, Christine Burrows, corporate communications manager for FNB, confirmed this.
Burrows said: “FNB is only stopping support for IE7 and we have reworked the information to clearly indicate that only access via IE7 is being closed in June.”
The previous information reportedly caused confusion because it apparently did not specify it is only IE7 that will no longer be supported.
