Bloggers can now incorporate Google+ comments on to their blog page, in the latest development announced by Google.
Google+ comments can now feature on any Blogger page in order to enable easy communication between the author and readers, but the feature will also simplify viewing comments and connecting people with the same circle, the company says.
“Reading and responding to comments can be one of the most rewarding aspects of blogging,” the web giant explained.
“Not only do they help you connect with your readers, they can also inspire later blog entries. The challenge, oftentimes, is following all the conversations around your content— on Google+, for instance, as well as on your website. So we’re making things a lot simpler.”p>
Once the feature is added, a blogger will be able to view all discussion around a blog post – including those posted on public Google+ discussions – directly from their home blog page.
Readers will be able to choose between commenting publicly, or limiting comments to their Google+ circles; and will also be able to select whose comments they can view.
According to Google, by introducing these features, bloggers may be able to boost their readership.
“Giving people these kinds of controls not only encourages more meaningful sharing — it can lead to more blog traffic,” Google said.
