The fourth Nigeria Com conference will take place from September 16 to 17 this year in Lagos as the largest dedicated digital event in the region.
The 2013 event boasts more focused workshops, a bigger Nigerian digital ecosystem, enhanced social media networking opportunities and elevated sponsorship packages to align with industry-focused interest.
With more than 40 speakers, attendees will be informed about the latest in the telecommunication, mobile and technological trends with a variety of events, including workshops and panel discussions.
Sponsored by BlackBerry and Global SMSC, among others, the event will be hosted by the Lagos Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Wellington Simbande, general manager of VAS Applications and Services at Glo, said: “Nigeria Com 2012 provided insightful, practical presentations and conversations about relevant topics [such as] social media and mobile money.
“Both the industry players present and fellow mobile operator delegates were great to debate and network with.”
Nigeria Com is part of the Africa Com conference series, taking place annually continent-wide.
HumanIPO reported earlier this month on the announcement of the 16th annual Africa Com event to occur in Cape Town, South Africa in November.
