Ultrathin HP Elitepad 900 launched in Nigeria

An Intel Atom processor-powered tablet has been launched by HP in Nigeria, aiming to ease workload by “providing support for business applications.”

Speaking at the Elitepad 900 launch in Lagos Morakinyo Ipoola, HP’s channel sales manager for West Africa, said the new device is “top notch” and “built to last”.

Describing the features of the new device, Microsoft’s consumer channels group director, Mark Ihimoyan, said users can create and consume content.

“One can go from a touch screen to a non-touch screen function just at the click of a button, thus catering to the needs of varied consumers,” Ihimoyan said.

“We are proud of our partnership with HP and excited to be here at the unveiling of this device. If you want to stay on the cutting edge of technology, this device is a must.”

Olubunmi Ekundare, country manager for Intel Corporation, Olubunmi Ekundare, also praised the device’s unique features that support fun and business.

The device is ultrathin and lightweight. It is designed for business, healthcare, retail and government.
