Leading cloud-based email enterprise Mimecast has announced the names of new candidates to enter the positions of chief experience officer (CXO), managing director (MD) and customer experience director (CED).
Garth Wittles, Brandon Bekker and Christelle Hicklin have stepped in as from Monday under respective titles.
Previously employed as MD of Mimecast South Africa, Wittles will step up to perform a global role in standardising customer experience strategy operation-wide to maintain a reputation of excellence.
Following in Wittles’s track, Bekker will now become the new MD with the responsibility to expand further into Africa among the company’s continental network of 16 countries.
Bekker previously occupied the position of sales director with more than 15 years experience across a wide array of programs.
Now in her third year at Mimecast, Hicklin will step into the shoes of CED to maintain quality customer services.
Wittles said: “Mimecast has always strived to deliver beyond customer expectations,” owing the Microsoft Exchange-focused company’s success to its “happy” customer base.
He added: “In today’s world, reputation is everything and we have to work hard at preserving and building on our past performance for all our stakeholders.”
The archiving, security and continuity enterprise has more than 7,000 customers and 500 staff members across global offices and prides itself in thinking ahead.
According to BackChannel Research’s bi-annual Hosted Email Security Report, Mimecast is the South African leader in the email market with a nine per cent increase in industry adoption since January 2012.
