Whogohost introduces US Dollar payment option

Nigerian domain registrar Whogohost has introduced a US Dollar payment option for its services, in an effort to ensure it delivers the best service to its customers.

“You can now make payments for our services using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners, JCB, PIN debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo, Debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo and PayPal,” Whogohost stated.

To make use of the service, it advised its customers to select the 2CheckOut payment method.

“All you need to do is choose 2CheckOut payment method on your invoice and you can start processing your payment,” Whogohost stated.

HumanIPO reported last month gold accredited registrar Whogohost officially commenced the sale of .ng domain names, at the cost of NGN15,000 (US$95) per domain.

Later, Whogohost co-founder Opeyemi Awoyemi told HumanIPO the cost of registering .ng domain names would remain high for around two years.

“I see the price coming down but it’s not something that is going to necessarily happen in the next one to two years, it might take a while,” he said.

While justifying the cost, he noted that, compared with the cost of domains such as .tv, .ng is not expensive because of its global potential.
