Airtel Nigeria is sponsoring this year’s edition of Big Brother Africa, dubbed ‘The Chase’.
Big Brother is the most successful television franchise ever seen in Africa, with Airtel now looking to tap into the popularity of the show.
Chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) of Airtel Nigeria Segun Ogunsanya said the firm was pleased to be associated with
Big Brother Africa and saw huge opportunities in the sponsorship agreement.
“Africa’s viewers are known for their passion for Big Brother Africa and we look forward to developing a number of exciting initiatives during season 8. I am delighted to welcome AfricaMagic and DStv into our family of commercial partners,” he said.

The series kicked off yesterday and will be screened live on DStv channels 197 and 198.
