Network operator Tigo’s Ghana branch has received three awards at the Ghana Telecom awards (GTA), owing their achievements to excellence and innovation.
Tigo Cash was crowned with three awards, namely Best Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best Mobile Money Service of the Year and Best Use of Social Media Marketing Campaign of the Year.
Tenu Awoonor, head of marketing, said: “At Tigo we don’t just come up with products and services because of competition, but we identify the needs of our subscribers and provide the best solutions,” Ghana News Agency reported.
Furthermore, he assured the public of continual quality service provision.
The company said: “Tigo continues to be a pacesetter in innovative and convenient products, such as Tigo Cash and Unlimited Internet, which provides seamless unlimited and affordable internet service to its subscribers.”
The Telecommunications Awards is aimed at the acknowledgement of Ghanaian telecom achievements by service providers and individuals since 2011.
