Vodafone Ghana walked away with the biggest haul at the Ghana Telecoms Awards, acknowledging its creativity and diligence as contributing to results.
Vodafone Ghana, in collaboration with Tigo-Vodafone, received six awards, including Telecom Brand of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year and two personality awards.
Uche Ofodile, chief marketing officer at Vodafone Ghana, said the achievement is “a reflection of our hard work and the creativity of our businesses,”The Herald reported.
Ofodile, winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Marketing award, said the Innovative Telecom Company of the Year award is seen as the greatest accomplishment by Vodafone.
“Innovation is in our DNA. Everything from our advertising to our products, to our CSR to what we do with music; there is innovation at the very heart of it. It’s a part of us, it’s in our brand, and it’s in our personality, so continue to expect more from us,” he commented.
