Kenyan integrated business and technology solutions provider Seven Seas Technologies (SST) has opened its new worldwide headquarters in Nairobi.
HumanIPO reported last week Seven Seas had acquired one of the four-storey office blocks on Riverside Drive.
Addressing the audience during the opening of the office, Evans Kidero, governor of Nairobi, said Kenya is a country to invest in because of the availability of capital in the region and the many intellectual materials which can be changed to raw materials.
“Kenya is the home of intellectual capital and when we talk to investors, we always ask them to come and invest here because we have huge intellectual capital. But we never consider that intellectual capital as raw material and here we have one of our own who has used intellectual material as a raw material that is going to go globally,” said Kidero.
“We are already in six countries in Africa and I believe all companies that ever became multinational started in their own countries and were only supported by their own.”
