Intel is to launch a Software and Services Group (SSG) for Africa in Kenya, introducing the company and its products to the local ecosystem of developers.
The group will help local developers access and exploit the capabilities of the company’s technologies so as to deliver more software and applications.
It will be launched on June 19 at Strathmore University, part of a global SSG led by Renee James that employs thousands of software-focused professionals.
Intel said had the SSG been independent it would have been listed among the 10 biggest software companies globally.
