First Bank Nigeria has completed its upgrade to the Finacle 10 banking application, speeding up operations with more paperless services.
HumanIPO reported last month on First Bank’s intended upgrades.
Folake Ani-Mumuney, head of marketing and corporate communications at First Bank, said the advanced updates marks a new period of improved customer experience and service excellence, TechnologyBanker reported.
More convenient internet banking with better security, as well as paperless deposits and withdrawal, are offered with the new version of Finacle 10.
The bank confirmed its technology-focused investments for further improvements and international expansion plans as supported by Finacle 10.
Originally launched in 2008, Finacle 10 serves as a standard platform, allowing banks to offer services such as wealth management, Islamic banking and improved mobile banking.
