Telkom Business has awarded a total of ZAR750,000 (US$75,000) to five South African companies to give them an ICT “makeover”, which will include access to business coaches.
The five businesses which won ZAR250,000 (US$25,000) each from the part state-owned fixed line operator are Meypharma, Bradbury Trading, Amenone Trading, Martiq 298 and TashB Pilates Studio.
Thami Magazi, managing executive of the Small and Medium Business Segment for Telkom Business, said: “This R750,000 competition prize is one part of our overall strategy and investment aimed at cementing our partnership with small and medium sized businesses in South Africa.”
The programme of support to the five winners will last until August and will include a diagnostic process, commercial remodelling and the identification of the correct ICT solutions.
