The Nokia Asha Mail for Exchange app has been introduced to South African users to enhance the user office experience.
Compatible with Nokia Asha 311, 310, 309 and 308, the new app offers email syncing, including calendar and contacts data sharing with Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 Servers, as well as Microsoft Office 365 Mobility Online Service.
The Mail for Exchange app is one of a number of releases, such as the Editori text and sheet feature through which users can view and edit Microsoft Word and Excel.
Patrick Henchie, senior manager of product marketing for South and East Africa, said: “The introduction of the new app makes the Nokia Asha 311, 310, 309 and 308 ready for business. It will enable users to take their office wherever they go, enhancing their overall mobile experience for work.”
Large flexibility for mobile phone modification, including sharing, saving and reviewing of documents for Nokia Asha phone users is to be expected, Henchie said.
He added: “Nokia is committed to enhancing the user experience by delivering more capabilities on the Asha smartphone range.”
