Nigeria will be presenting its broadband initiatives at the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) Forum to be hosted in Abuja in October, Eugene Juwah, executive vice chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has revealed.
According to Juwah, who was speaking after meeting the CTO’s secretary general, the theme of the three-day forum will be Innovation Through Broadband.
“The subscribers will gain tremendously by several initiative and we hope that with the pervasive implementation of our plans, the issue about quality of service will completely disappear because the major cause of quality of service now is that we do not have enough capacity, we do not have enough transmission capacity,” Juwah said.
The forum is expected to be attended by 20 foreign communication technology ministers, experts and stakeholders.
