Dr Ashiru Daura has been appointed acting director of Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), following the retirement of Professor Cleopas Angaye on Friday.
Prior to his appointment, Daura was the director of software planning and technical research at NITDA, and he will be serving in an acting capacity as the head of the agency until a substantive appointment is made.
His appointment has been approved by the minister of communication technology Omobola Johnson.
