Samsung has said it is hoping to support the Zambian government with its The Built for Africa solutions packages aimed at the African continent.
Speaking at a Smart Government workshop in Lusaka Thierry Boulanger, Samsung Africa’s director of information technology solutions and B2B Africa, said by working with ministers Samsung could aid development in construction, energy, health and education, reported The Times of Zambia.
Boulanger said they would be able to do this through ICT support and the point of the workshop was to advertise their solutions to the Zambian government.
Among the solutions Boulanger praised was a solar power generator. “This solar power generator will help in providing electricity to people in their households and help them run their businesses using a cheaper source of electricity,” he said.
