iOS mobile-based app Just.me has launched on the Android platform, a few months after first being available on iPhone.
Just.me chief executive officer (CEO) Keith Teare had announced that the app would be available on Android at most eight weeks after its iOS debut.
Already the app has more than 250,000 unique users in the 90 days it has featured on the iOS platform and a cumulative five million views.
Among the features of the app include private one-to-one messaging, public broadcast and contained group messaging, as well as possible use as a private diary.
The app has also allowed the receipt of and replies to messages to users of feature phones as it tries to attract a wider audience.
Registration has also been streamlined to allow the viewing of public content without signing in while messages can also be received as SMS.
