Samsung and MultiChoice have partnered to offer DStv decoders and subscriptions on the purchase of a Samsung television sets at various Nakumatt stores in Kenya.
According to the promotion, only television sets above 40 inches are eligible for the offer with customers getting free decoders.
Television sets worth more than KSh200,000 (US$2,300) will get a high definition decoder while those below will get a single view decoder.
This is the second such promotion this year with the company having held another offer in February.
The move should help encourage high-end users to migrate to digital TV, as Kenya looks to beat the 2015 digital migration deadline.
