Google has launched new SafeSearch features for safe family browsing.
SafeSearch assists surfers to hide content classified as adult material, including images, search results and videos.
Available from the Google Search Settings page, users can adjust options under the SafeSearch filters section.
“Knowing how to stay safe and secure online is important, which is why we created our Good to Know site with advice and tips for safe and savvy Internet use,” Google Africa posted.
Making sure children do not change the settings, SafeSearch Lock helps parents to save the filter changes with password protection.
Similar options are also available on YouTube with YouTube Safety Mode, as well as on mobile devices.
