South African digital publication awards Bookmarks will be hosting a series of digital workshops, building up to its grand award ceremony in mid-November.
HumanIPO reported last week on the launch of the Bookmarks app. Power of Digital workshops will showcase the “transformational power” beyond the traditional digital agency and publishing spectrum.
Attendees will be enlightened by expert’s digital publishing preferences, challenges and opportunities in South Africa.
Experts include Lana Strydom, head of digital marketing and media at First National Bank, Laura Jordan Bambach, judge at the Bookmarks International Agency and Patrick Studener, international launcher of Uber.
Workshops will take place in both Johannesburg and Cape Town during November 12 and 13.
Other speakers from Zando, Adobe and Africa Internet Accelerator will also offer its expertise.
People interested to attend are advised to contact the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA) for tickets priced at ZAR500 (US$50).
