South Africa’s First National Bank (FNB) has released its banking app on the Windows 8 platform, enabling wider access on tablets and mobile phones.
HumanIPO reported earlier this week on the launch of FNB’s share investing app feature.
The new platform launch adds to the accessibility range of iPhones, iPads, Android and BlackBerry devices.
The app gives full access to banking services, as well as location functionalities with regards to eBucks partners.
Giuseppe Virgillito, head of banking app for FNB Mobile and Connect, said: “We have an ongoing development timeline on the banking app and will continue to bring innovations to our customers to ensure the best banking app experience.”
The upgraded features have also been applied to the Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) banking app, developed internally by the FNB Mobile and Connect team.
