Spectranet publish Abuja LTE prices

Spectranet has released the prices for its LTE services in Nigeria’s capital Abuja, confirming it is now offering services outside of Lagos.

HumanIPO reported earlier today (Thursday) the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) could recall spectrum from some operators if they were not making full use of it, but Spectranet, currently the country’s leading internet service provider (ISP) and one of three which holds spectrum in the sought after 2.3GHz frequency, is expanding services.

Spectranet tweeted with links to its new price plans today, including services for Abuja which have just been added.

There are four packages. LTE Connect and LTE Business which are both 24/7 services and valid for 30 days, plus LTE Nite, which offers services between 8pm and 8am, and LTE Top-UP, which provides 2GB of data with no validity period.

An LTE Connect package can reach up to 30GB for NGN18,500 (US$117) and up to 80GB for NGN56,000 (US$353) per month.
