Nigeria’s e-commerce site, Konga.com, has surpassed 500,000 fans on its verified Facebook page, growing from 2,000 one year ago.
“Konga.com now has half a million proud fans on its verified page on Facebook. This time last year, we had only 2,000+ fans and today it’s 500,000+,” Konga stated.
While thanking its customers and other stakeholders that contributed to the achievement, it said with the feat, e-commerce in Nigeria is now growing rapidly.
“We say a big thank you to every shopper, blogger, journalist, and to all Nigerians that have been a part of our Journey so far,” the company added.
HumanIPO reported in July Konga’s Facebook page became the second page in Nigeria to be verified on Facebook, second only to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The page is also the first page owned by an e-commerce website to be verified in Africa.
Konga.com is also one of the four Nigerian websites that are among the 15 most visited websites in Africa has given by Alexia ranking.
